Can HCG Injections Cause Mild Swelling In Stomach With Frequent Urge To Urinate?

I I took HCG injections for weight loss and lowered calorie intake and in the 3rd week had mild swelling with frequent urges to urinate. I quit the shots. My stomach seems numb to the touch but doesn t hurt but it is a little swollen. I drank lots of water and the urine went from yellow to almost clear. I don t feel bad. I have to fly tomorrow. Is there anything I should do besides drink a lot of water?

The use of HCG for weight loss have been shown to be ineffective and the weight loss from the HCG diet is by very-low-calorie intake. Even FDA and many medical studies suggested people stay clear of HCG diet as it is proven to be ineffective. HCG is a hormone not approved for weight loss in clear words.

As of now, I suggest you might need to see a doctor to get examined and make sure you have no electrolyte imbalance in the body. Once you are given a go ahead you can resume your travel plans.
