Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear Sir/madam,
Diamicron shold be taken 30mins before breakfast for the tablet to be fully effective. unfortunately you forgot to mention the post prandial level to assess the effect of diamicron. If it is not diamicron xr i prefer to dose my patient twice daily to get a better 24hr control. i dont think increasing glyciphage will help her. Please do her FBS, PPBS and HbA1c and I will always be there for your guidance.
