Can Fluconazole Pill Be Taken Along With Amoxicillin?
I just started amoxillan for dental work and feel a yeast infection coming on dr gave me two fluconazole pills Do I take those with the antibiotics or wait until the ten days of antibiotic treatment is over. Also I only have 2 fluconazole pills how far do I spread them apart

Yes, it is safe to take those two medications together. The Fluconazole tablets would usually be 150mg, and it is advisable that you take 1 pull now, and the next (and last) pill should be taken in 7 days.

Fluconazole can be taken along with amoxicillin. The dosage of fluconazole for oropharyngeal candidiasis is 200mg on the first day followed by 100mg once daily for at least 2 weeks. Please do consult your doctor and ask about the duration of treatment. Fluconazole is prescribed at least for 10 to 14 days.
