Can Femilon Be Taken Only During Sexually Active Period?

I got married a month ago and I am currently using femilon ocp. My question is since my husband is out of town for more than a month and I won t be having intercourse during this period. Can I stop using femilon for a month and start it again after a month.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
No femilon can also be taken by a sexually inactive person. Sometimes when a women is suffering from missed periods it is given by a gynaecologist to woman to have her periods.
The main thing is that if you didn't need any contraception (as your husband is out of own), you could also stop using femilon for a month and start it again after a month. But do not stop taking it in middle of your cycle. Stop it after you have taken your whole pack. Start on 1st day of menstrual bleeding on next month.
In this way you will save a pack & also will not have to remember taking pills unneccesarily.
