Can Epilizine, Rivotril And Wellbutrin Be Taken Together?

Hi I m taking Epilizine 1500mg and 5htp 400mg in the mornings and Epilizine 1000mg with 2x 0.5mg rivitrol & 100mg 5htp at night. This is to control seizures mainly at night or early morning. The 5htp was to replace welbutron which did not help my state of mind. What are your thoughts on this medication combination? Thanx Richard

Hello,

Avoid taking these medications together.

1. Epilizine with Rivotril:
This combination may affect seizure control and cause drowsiness. You may need dose adjustments or special tests in order to safely take both medications together. You should avoid driving, swimming or operating machines if any.

2. Epilizine with Wellbutrin:

Epilizine may increase the blood levels of Wellbutrin. Contact your doctor if you experience increased side effects or your condition changes. You may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring by your doctor to safely use both medications.

3. Wellbutrin with Rivotril:

Excessive use of Rivotril, or abrupt discontinuation following long-term use, may occasionally trigger seizures in patients taking Wellbutrin.
