Can Diazepam Be Taken After Taking Prednisone?

I am on the first day of prednisone and took three at noon. I took two sleeve pm about an hour ago. Can I still take 10 my of Diazepam. I am constantly coughing and muscle spasms in my back and want to take the Diazepam but want sure about mixing them

Yes, generally it can be taken and there are no known serious interactions between these two medications. However, try to limit daizepam dosage to 20mg a day and also it should be taken with at least 2 hours delay from the intake of prednisone. You may feel some sleepiness but the effect on muscle spasms should be beneficial if these 2 are taken. Also, drink more fluids during the therapy course and have easier food to prevent gastritis and ulcer risk.
