Can Clindamycin Be Taken While On Lisinopril, Flecainide And Ropinirole?

I m taking 300 MG of Clindamycin because of a tooth implant but it seems to be making my pulse irregular. I m already taking 5 MG of Lisinopril and 100 MG of Flecainide every day for high blood pressure and irregular heartbeat. Also 1/2 MG Ropinirole every day for restless legs. Is adding the Clindamycin to that too much and making my heart go crazy? I feel like I can hardly get a pulse.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

These two medications can be taken together since there is no scientific evidence that some interactions or serious side effects exist. SO if there is medical indication then it can be taken just be sure to take it in recommended dosage. Also, you must be sure that you are not allergic to any ingredient of these drugs. If you start to feel any signs such as breathing difficulties or rash, you should stop medications and see doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
