Can Chlorzoxazone And Gabapentin Be Taken Together?

Can I take chlorzoxazone and gabapentin together? I take gabapentin for my fibromyalgia and recently had muscle spasms or skeletal back pain and pulled muscles in my neck. I took the chlorzoxazone because I couldn t stand the pain after I took Gabapentin because it wasn t working.. and now I feel weird. Is that safe?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Both drugs that you mention (chlorzoxazone and gabapentin) can be safely taken together. There is no interaction between them.
On the other hand, each of these drugs may have side effects that happen in some patients while using them.
If your symptoms are lasting you will need to talk to your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
