Can Bupropion SR And Carbamazepine Be Taken Together?

Psychiatrist just changed medicine slightly for bipolar son with some psychosis-risperidone dropped to 1 mg tablet instead of 2 at nite and added 5mg abilify in am with bupropion sr, also takes carbamazepine 400 mgs at nite and 200 mg in am. read something about interaction with bupropion sr and carbamazepine. any concern???

Bupropion can increase the metabolism of carbamazepine and decrease the blood levels of carbamazepine. This is a very minor interaction and both these medications can be taken together.
