Blurry Vision, Lights Bothering Vision After Injuring Neck. Is It A Concussion?
Hi. On Wednesday, my boyfriend was playing football. He jumped about 5 or so feet off the ground to catch the ball and someone hit him while in the air. He had his hair in a bun so he land on that instead of his neck. Today, 3 days later, he called me and told me that his vision is blurry and the lights are bothering him. Is it possible he has a concussion?

Hi, as he was hit on the head, as it is in the game the blow will be sharp, so there is always a possibility of the concussion, so i advise you to consult a neurologist for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have M.R.I.for confirmation. Thank you.

as he is having blurry vision first visit an ophthalmologist urgently.because causes might be traumatic mydriasis i.e dilatation of pupil,
or anterior uveitis because of trauma
or worse is traumatic optic neuropathy.
consult an ophthalmologist urgently and start treatment as soon as possible.
