Blood Pressure 150/105 On S-numlo2.5 And Epitril, Now 105/80. Is It Advisable To Stop The Medicines?
my wife's blood pressure was 150/105 but after taking s-numlo2.5 and epitril for a week her bp is now105/80.she is 48 years old.has she to continue with this medicine lifelong or dock will advice her to stop it.this is just for my personal information.it feels great to meet a doctor on line.thanks for being there to help us.
Hi, Welcome to HCM, Thanks for posting your query to this forum, your wife recently detected to have High blood pressure, and started treatment with s numlo,I am glad that her blood pressure is in desirable range.It should be She should continue treatment and consult Physician if necessary dose may be reduced. Epitril is anti anxiety medicine if she is all right it may be stopped with consultation of Physician. If she is overweight then reduce few kilograms, take less salt She should monitor and go for periodic medical check up in essential Hypertension it necessary to continue treatment but in some cases it is possible to take off drug and continue life style modification.
