Bladder Infection With Chills And Urinating Sensation Following Hysterectomy. Any Possible Bladder Or Ureter Injury ?

Following my 2010 hysterectomy, I had frequent symptoms of a bladder infection, mainly the sensation of having to urinate and chills. I would run to the bathroom and nothing would come out. No infection was found. After a year or so, the sensation became less and less frequent until it was almost non-existent. I am currently suffering with a head cold and was coughing violently the other day when I felt something become injured internally -- it felt as if it could be in my vagina or in my urinary tract. Tonight I feel the familiar sensation of a bladder infection returning. Is it possible that my bladder or ureter was injured during the hysterectomy and was then reinjured with the violent coughing this week?

HI
Than for asking to HCM
I can understand your problems but the way you are thinking is wrong this is not because of injured bladder or ureter injury, the chances of urinary infection is more likely and in female patients it bit difficult to treat, I would advise you to take ofloxacine 600 mg twice day for four days and Sodium citrate liquid 20 ml four time in day your complain has to response these, if fails to response then, urine culture sensitivity test is must, have nice day.
