Hi Doctor, I have had a problem with the big toenail on my foot. First, the nail turned black and for around a week it was extremely uncomfortable for me to walk on and I was hobbling. I went to see my doctor and he said it was badly bruised and should return to normal within another week. The pain went away within the week but the colouring stayed. Around 1 month later, the toe nail turned an unhealthy looking yellow colour and fell off when I was in bed one night. However, a piece of toenail is still attached to my foot. The rest of the toenail broke of but this part did not. Another nail is growing but, whenever I touch the growing nail, bits just fall of and it starts to crumble. I don t think it is anything serious but I just need to know what the heck is happening to my foot!!! Please Help! xxxxxxx
