Baby's Poo Having Plenty Of Black Vein Like Little Strands As In Banana Cake. What Is It?

Hello. I assume you kbow what a banana cake is.. It has a "black vein like' little strands in it, right? In my baby's poo earlier, i noticed the same "black vein like" little strands on it and there were plenty of it as i said just like in a banana cake.. May i ask what it is and is it normal? or isn't it blood? thank yoi.

Hi,

You are not mentioning the age of your baby. If you are breastfeeding and giving also solid foods. Perhaps you gave something new to your baby and it has come up in the feces.

Blood usually comes as red or black or un-noted. Check if you see any external hemrrhoids to your baby.

If your baby continue with such problems and cries while pooing, consult your pediatrician.
