Baby Having Reddish Watery Stool. Change In Food Habits. Should I Be Worried?

My son is 9 months old and we ve been introducing him to new foods. The past few days he has eaten eggs and meat balls, spaghetti, Mac n cheese, and oatmeal(aside from his normal baby food and formula. For the past three days his poop has been brick red color, and today it was more watery and still reddish in color. Is this from the change in food or should I be worried? My husband said it almost looked like blood .. Could this be? He doesn t seem to be in any kind of pain.

Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic Forum,
It can be from the food. Give himn normal diet, avoiding all those for few days and include more of liquids in the diet and see if the stools are getting better, then you will have the answer. Take care.
