General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The cough may go on for a while after infection. This is because the airways may need some time to recover completely after the infection is cleared. As long as you do not have any fever, shortness of breath or chest pain, you should be fine.
Dizziness and weakness may be due to the infection you went through or may be side effects of the antibiotic. They should be better within the next week.

If you notice no improvement within a week or you notice any worsening or any new symptoms you will need to see your doctor.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.

Regards,
