Are There Any Side Effects Of Taking Flexeril?

Hi I take prozac once a day as prescribed and I have back pain normally, so I decided to take a flexeril. I started to not feel good then I googled any interaction and found out there could be a very bad reaction, the flexeril was in me for about 20 minutes then I threw up as soon as I found out about the reaction, should I be worried?

As you stated, there is a risk of a significant reaction with the use of both flexeril and prozac.

The combined use can result in serotonin syndrome.

Flexeril is normally well absorbed, but it is possible that since you vomited soon after using it that it may not have been completely absorbed and no effects will occur.

Some of the symptoms of serotonin syndrome are increased heart rate, sweating, shivering, muscle twitching.
You can monitor for the occurrence of any symptoms of significance.
