Are There Any Side Effects Of Taking Cytotec 200?

hello. i m 37+ i m 35 days pregrent meann 20 november 2013 was my last period date. 2day 6 days over. my husband gave me cytotec 200 mg tablet in 3 times. ia had taken. now if i want to countinoue this child... can i? waht is the major side effect? or shuld i abort this child.. i m an big tension plz hel me out. i am diebatic since 6 years. my 2nd child pregnanvy time i took insulin... he is Mashallah ok perfect.... plz help me.

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

Cytotec causes uterine contractions and cervical dilatation that leads to abortion in early pregnancy. It has n effect on the unborn baby. If it failed to act and bring about any abortion, I will suggest that you get the fetus evaluated by your OBGYN for confirmation of healthy status. then follow up with your antenatal care. There is no reason as of now why you cannot carry on with this pregnancy.
