Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Levothyroxine is a generic drug and it is used to treat an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism).
It replaces or provides more thyroid hormone, which is normally produced by the thyroid gland.

YOur symptoms,in my opinion can be the result of the stress produces by staring the thyroid hormone replacement therapy.

I don't think you need other options of meds.
I agree with staring with lower dosis and the very gradual dosis adjustment of Levothyroxine every 4-6 wekks, accordingly to the TSH test result.

Anyway,i suggest to consult a local endocrinologist for the follow up of your thyroid condition and the necessary dosis adjustment of Levothyroxine.

Hope this is helpful.
Take care
