Are Recurring Painful Contractions During Pregnancy Signs Of Early Labor?

Im 36 weeks and 2 days pregnant, I have been having painful contractions on and off for about 2 weeks now i also have been experiencing like menstrual cramps for over a week and i have been very gassy. Is this a sign to indicate ill be going in labor very soon?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Either these are early signs of labour or Braxton Hicks contractions, and so I would recommend a visit to your doctor to check whether or not you are experiencing early labour.

But all you need to do now is to stay calm, and try to report to your doctor at your earliest convenience.

Best wishes.
