Are Peanuts Effective In Treating Schizoaffective Disorder?

I just have a statement to make. I ve been diagnosed as having schizo- effective disorder. But Whenever I eat Peanut Butter My symptoms all but completely vanish. And what s behind the idea of mentally ill people being Nuts ? There s some connection there. I think a cure or effective treatment could be found in the Peanut! Merry Christmas

Hi,

First I would like to explain about schizoaffective disorder. It is a disorder with combination of two mental illnesses schizophrenia and a mood disorder this disorder people present either with psychotic symptoms, manic symptoms, depressive symptoms diagnosis made if symptoms of schizophrenia and symptoms of a mood disorder are present at the same time for at least 2 weeks. For treatment I usually advice are antipsychotic medication, antidepressants, mood stabilising medication, ect, psychological counselling, and support from family and friends. As per my knowledge there is no such relation between pea nuts and schizoaffective disorder.
