Are Nicotine And Cotinine Detected In The Blood After Quitting Smoking?
Hi I m going for Gastric Bypass on March 2nd and I ve been cigarette free since January 2nd, I go for my blood test to see if there is nicotine/cotinine in my system! I have no picked up a cigarette since I quit my question is will it be clear from my system will I pass my test I m terrified I m gonna fail?

yes it can be detected it all depends on pre anesthetic check up.should give detail history before surgery. it is for your safty.and safe operation
