Are Narcotic Pain Relievers Advisable During Pregnancy?

Hello I am pregnant I also have EDS I am in so much pain tyleone doesn t work at all, I want to take narcotics which I have recieved from Dr but I don t want to harm my baby I am 15 weeks pregnant so I have a long way to go I have basicly been on bed rest because of pain which makes things worse because I am losing muscle mass. swimming help the most but still not very much. I also have every chronic depression and being this sick makes thing much worse I honestly am not sure what to do I need help but not very many people know about EDS and how to help.

Hello,

Narcotics is not safe in pregnancy and there is always risk of spontaneous abortion will be there. You can take paracetamol infusion which will provide long lasting and better pain relief.
