I have been taking Prozac beginning 3/3/17. I was on 10mg from 3/3-3/9 based on a prescription from my psychiatrist. He advised me to begin taking 20mg on 3/10 which I have done through today. I am also taking 200mg of Lamictal and have been taking this drug for 10- 12 years. My Dr. recently diagnosed me with bi-polar2 disorder and advised me to discontinue using celexa for depression since I was cycling down every 2 -3 weeks. The withdrawal was horrendous. He suggested Prozac as a supplement to the Lamictal since the Lamictal wasn't working without another drug. I am sick and functioning at a minimal level. Upset stomach, constipation, no energy, etc. although the depression has subsided somewhat Should I just stick it out and is this typical?
