Hello,

Wysolon (Prednisolone ) can cause hyperglycemia and can also lead to frank Diabetes in a latent diabetic or pre-diabetic. Polydipsia or excessive thirst for water is due to hyperglycemia and consequent glycosuria/polyuria.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
