Are Bleeding And On And Off Cramps Normal While On Depo Shot?
I just got my depo shot in February this year... I ve never had cramping or bleeding for three weeks straight into my second month...I was on it before for nearly one year with a small break until recently but this is unusual to me. I haven t been bleeding within nearly 1 1/2 weeks but notice intermittency with cramping... Nothing severe but definitely noticeable.

You are on depo shot and are experiencing bleeding on and off and also cramps. Depo shots may cause unwanted effects. Cramps and bleeding on and off are some such symptoms. These side effects may cause discomfort, if they persist to occur they may need medical attention.
For most people, symptoms of bleeding and cramps resolves as the body adjusts with the changes. In case the symptoms continue, get clinically examined by a Gynae, you will be given conservative treatment for it or suggested to switch to some other birth control device that suits you better.
With Depo-shots, vaginal bleeding is not only a common side effect but one that's expected to occur in about 25% of users in the first year. Stay away from addictions if any, smoking, drugs, alcohol , etc. Take rest and relax. Take home made nutritious food and learn to manage stress both physical & emotional.
