Are Atherosclerotic Changes Of The Abdominal Aorta Without Aneurysmal Dilatation A Cause For Concern?

my girlfriend just got results from an abdominal ultrasound. can you please translate the following (in layman’s terms): “The liver demonstrates homogeneous echotexture without focal lesion, or biliary ductal dilatation.... The gallbladder shows no wall thickening, cholelithiasis or pericholecystic fluid. Negative sonographic Murphy’s sign. The CBD measures 4mm. ...There are atherosclerotic changes of the abdominal aorta without aneurysmal dilatation. The pancreas and IVC are unremarkable. There is no free fluid in the abdomin.

welcome to hcm ...ok let me try to explain in simple term .
liver does not have any abnormal growth ..normal in size and shape
no gall stone or no stone in common bile duct stone
no disease in liver ..gall bladder ..pancreas ..cbd
.
no infection in abdomen as no free fluid
major vein as ivc inferior vena cava is normal
major artery that supplies blood to abdomen and legs have fat deposition in its walls .but there is no narrowing or dilatation ..a good thing despite deposit as the lipid deposit in majority people with age
so overall all is ok
as a precaution ask her to keep BP ..sugar and lipid profile and body weight under control
