Hello,
Thank you for asking question.
I am Dr Adil Ramzan.
Although i would like to ask more question to understand your question fully. I would presume that by the work "bad veins" you mean swollen and painful veins" that become more visible when you stand up and do some activity.
If yes, this is the case then treatment of this is different. Asprin and Ibufen may help to relieve pain (if you have) but these would not help to cure vericose veins. Varicose Veins need other medications and or may a day-care surgical procedure.
If by "bad veins" you are pointing toward your doctor's saying like "your leg veins are not very good, or your deeper leg veins has a blockage or narrowing" (called deep venous thrombosis, or may be peripheral vascular disease) then aspirin may have some supporting role, but it is usually not very effective for prevention of thrombosis and swelling. and for this too there are other more effective medications.

I would suggest you to stick with the advice of your doctor and take your medication regularly.
I hope i have helped.
Kind Regards.
Dr Adil Ramzan.
