Are Abdominal Cramps And Bloating Normal Post Insertion Of Mirena Coil?

Hi I am 21 and in August I started using the Mirena as my form of birth control. I went back to my doc 4 weeks later to make sure everything was looking good and it was and during that time I experienced bleeding and cramping. Since then I haven t had a period but the past week I have had horrible cramping bloating breast tenderness and spotting in the morning. Is this normal?

Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
Mirena is an IUD with inbuilt hormone. IT is known to cause all side effects of hormone... Viz.abdominal cramping, bloating/ irregular bleeding/ breast tenderness. So your problem seems to be a side effect of the Mirena.
