General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Hormonal irregularities is the main issue in PCOD. This can cause irregular periods or acne issues or hirsutism. Susten is a progesterone containing drug for inducing period if taken for Short term and stop. For long term it is used to support pregnancy also. It is not a medication for PCOD. For decreasing PCOD issues, drugs like Metformin or Liraglutide is used.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nishad B. N., General & Family Physician
