Are Podowart Lotion And Podowart Paint The Same Thing?

I was prescribed Podowart lotion and was given Podowart Paint.. Is that the same thing? Also, my doctor had told me to use Vaseline on the skin around the wart.. Should I use petroleum jelly Vaseline or will cream do and will it have an adverse reaction on the skin?

Hi,

Podowart S Paint Lotion contains Aloe Vera Topical, Benzoin Tincture Topical, Podophyllum Resin Topical and Salicylic Acid Topical as active ingredients. The ingredients possess keratolytic and comedolytic properties. It is useful in effectively treating soft genital warts.

Kindly use it with Vaseline (Petroleum jelly) as advised by your doctor. Generally, it is not known to cause any major side effects. Kindly do necessary follow-up with your doctor as advised.
