Are Iron Supplements Advisable While On Keppra And Lamictal?

I am 35 years of age and have seizures. My Doctor has told me every time I have my check up that my iron level is very low. I take RX drugs for my seizures. I need to know what I should do to increase my iron level. My RX drugs are Keppra and lamictal. Would it be better to eat more iron food than take iron pills. Will the iron pills affect me because I take prescription drugs.
