General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

B HCG is naturally produced during pregnancy and it is said to maintain pregnancy. For this reason, it is sometimes used for miscarriages to stabilise pregnancy.

The data during its use in pregnancy is lacking, and it must be avoided except in early pregnancy and only if needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
