Are Fenistil Drops Advisable For An Infant With Severe Cough?
hi my baby is already 11 months....and right now she s having a cough...is it safe to give fenistil to her? I got the prescription from her pedia before when she was having a cough..like a few months ago and now that she s having a cough again, I automatically gave her the fenistil drops 3x a day...interval of 8 hours...4 to 5 drops..is it ok?

hi...fenistil is anti histaminic..and used in allergic condition.
so if cough is allergic origin go with it and dose is 2-10 drops 3 times a day upto 1 year age.
but if cough is due to infection use of fentinil is not advised..
you need to go for antibiotics.
so do blood test for it and consult pediatric doctor soon..
