Hi,

Canesten ear drop contains antifungal known as clotrimazole solution which is used to treat fungal infections in the ear. Use 2-3 drops of solution, 2 or 3 times daily. You will need to use the Canesten ear drops until the infection has gone and then for an extra 14 days after the infection has cleared up in order to prevent re-infection. Symptoms such as itching and soreness should improve within a few days of using antifungal, although redness and skin scaling may take a little longer. You should use this antifungal ear drops as long as your doctor has advised. Before stop using this medication consult your doctor.

Take care. Hope i have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
