Canditral (itraconazole) tablets are indicated for the treatment of fungal infections. Canestan and candid cream are both having clotrimazole which again is an anti fungal agent.
Inner thigh rash and itching symptoms are seen in fungal infections. All the above drugs are helpful in controlling the fungal infection. And fungal infections take a lot of time to heal.
But over and above the drugs, maintaining personal hygiene is of utmost importance to treat this condition.
Make sure the affected parts are dry before putting on the clothes after bathing. Do not wear wet clothes or tight clothes.
I would suggest you to continue using canestan/candid cream for 10-15 days. I would have prescribed fluconazole (Nuforce 150 mg) once weekly for 6 weeks along with cream. Do maintain high standards of personal hygiene and keep the affected part dry as discussed above.
I would also like to know your age. If the fungal infection remains even after treatment, I would have screened my patient for diabetes as recurrent fungal infections are more common in this condition.
