Any Suggestion For Lump Below Xiphloid Process Causing Stomach Upset And Chest Pains?

hey, my name is chad im a 29 year old male. i just had a question. i have a lump, seem like its right below my xiphloid process or on it... tender to the touch and seem to upset my stomach and give me chest pains, i dont have time to go to the doctors because imn workin nights shift. i was wondering if there was anything that u can think of in the mean time... thanks

Hi, thank you for asking Healthcare Magic.
With this presentation, I think it is gastritis. I would suggest you try proton pump inhibitor like Omeprazole (Prilosec over-the-counter) in association with antacids for 2 weeks. You also need to avoid conditions that would worsen it like taking alcohol, smoking, caffeine-containing foods, fatty foods and non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs. I believe this would help you if you follow it.
