Ankle Started To Hurt Suddenly. Unable To Walk On Left Leg. Could It Be A Sprain?

I don't really know what happened, but my ankle started to hurt out of nowhere. I don't do any sports, and I wasn't doing anything physical at the time. I was sitting with one leg under the other on my couch, playing around with my iPad. I tried to walk, but then it started to hurt to the point I had to hope on one foot. It's been about a day since then and my ankle still hurts, and I can't put any weight on my left foot at all without pain being involved. I'm not sure if it was a strain or anything, but I just really need some help.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I can understand your problem and I could say that this could have happened because of uneven pressure while you sat, and you might have sat there for longer time which again might have exerted extra pressure, now just have rest try some analgesic, generally physiotherapy gives good result rather than medicine go for it and stop worrying it will come around soon have nice day.
