After First Two C Sections Will The Third Delivery Also Be By C Section?
hi doctor i had two c-section for two daughters, the first one was due to breech position, the second one was coming normal but because my first daughter was only three years old i could not have a normal birth.so i had another c-section.I am having my third child,my second is five years old now.would i need another c-section if everything is normal.
First of all, with the second pregnancy, you were an excellent candidate for a VBAC (vaginal birth after Cesarean). I am not sure why you were pushed into a C-section. The main concern is when the deliveries are less than 18 months apart. Under normal circumstances, with two prior C-sections and no prior vaginal births, you would need a C-section with the third. I would, though, have you ask your OB Provider if they consider that you might still be a candidate for a VBAC.
I hope that this helps and good luck!
