What Are The Chances Of Normal Delivery After C Sections?

hi iam 27 weeks pregnant my ultrasound reflect that placenta is posterior with cephalic presentation.my last delivery was c section done in november 2012 and two other deliveries were also c section now my concern is that this time can my delivery b normal(vaginal)?iam thyroid patient

Hello,
With three previous cesarean sections, the chances of trying to deliver through the vaginal route are very very remote. If you are a thyroid patient, antenatal correction can be done and you can be made euthyroid. The presence of a posterior placenta makes the decision of another abdominal delivery easier since an anterior placenta would pose difficulty in the surgery. If you still insist on having a vaginal delivery and if the indications are not recurrent, it may be tried for a short while in a highly equipped hospital under an experienced doctor.
