After an aortic valve replacement, my brother is having pain

After an aortic valve replacement, my brother is having pain in his left arm actually the most pain runs from the shoulder to the neck on that left side. The surgery took place on October 25th.
Will this go away after a while? Taking oxycondone now.

My husband had aortic valve replacement 12 weeks ago and he is having shortness of breath swelling in his legs and no energy. What could be causing this ? He doesn t seem any better off than he was before the surgery. He is also having excruciating pain in his legs.
