Abscess On Surgical Site Developed & Experienced Pain Over On Of My Insicisons. How Serious Is This & Could The Infection Spread To My Bone ?
I had foot surgery 6 weeks ago. Over the past 4 days, I have experienced pain over on of my insicisons. Redness appeared around it and it became more tender. i took a bath today, and when i got out, there was a lump on the foot. I pressed down and a good amount of pus came out of it. How serious is this ? Could the infection spread to my bone ?
