Why Is My Skin Dry And Flaky At The Shin After A Bruise Caused By An Injury?
A little over a year ago I dropped a piece of equipment on my shin. The incident resulted in a scrape and light bruising. After the initial healing the area became dry and flaky. It has continued to behave like dermititous to this day. What is going on?

The symptoms seem to be related to dermatitis.
I suggest using Calamine lotion for local application.
I also suggest using a daily moisturizer.
