9 Weeks Pregnant, Blood Stains In Urine. Scan Shows Bleeding Around Baby. Will This Affect Baby And Me?

hi doctor good morning. my wife has 9 weeks pregnancy now. Recently she observed stains coming in urine. we went and consult a doctor. Doctor advised to take scan first. we do scan and showed scan report to doctor. doctor told that there is bleeding internally around the baby, so take complete bed rest. Does this will happen any serious to my wife and baby? In scan report shows baby having heart beat..

Please clarify my problem..as we are worrying about the same...

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
Your wife scan report shows bleeding around your baby, this bleeding is because of placental bleeding(placenta previa or abruptio placental).
This bleeding may absorb after sometimes by itself so don't worry go for repeat ultrasonography after sometimes.
Take complete bed rest.
Good luck.
Take care.
