70 Years. Restricting Hip Movement Due To Growth Of Bone Spur. History Of Fitting New Hip. Can Removal Be Done With Radio Treatment?

had new hip fitted 18 months ago but a lot of bone spur has grown restricting hip movement not sure which way to go could have it removed followed with radio treatment but consultant not sure he wants to do as it can cause more problems afterwards

Hi, sorry to know your restriction of movement after operation , and doctor not willing to get it operated again. Of course it is true that the reoperation in such a complicated joint will be inviting more complications.
It is advisible to have management of the pain. I to my patient with such condition prescribes, neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and antiinflamatories, for few days and to be continued when there is necesity.
