she took the adminsistred antibiotic and still should repeat the dose as analysis prove it still there.
the pancreas enzimes as well as the side front and back local contineous pain made the loca doctor request CT on Pancreas.. attached are the enzymes results.
we are worried of malignancy... and cant wait till the CT reveal results.. could the symptoms be indicative of that?

Brief Answer:
Can't be pancreatic cancer.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for choosing "Ask a Doctor" service for your query,
Have seen your details and reports attached by you.
Small elevation of pancreatic enzyme has no relation or significance.
In case of cancer it would be elevated many times the normal limit.
Along with it patient would have a number of symptoms associated with pancreas.
The problem is associated with H.pylori and proper course of antibiotics should be taken.

Tab Metronidazole 1 gram three times a day.
Tab Clarithromycin 500 mg twice daily
Tab Amoxycilln 1000 mg twice
Tab Rabeprazole once daily.
All are prescription medicine and should be taken initially for 21 days.
Follow up after 21 days for further treatment.
What medicines were she given and for what duration by doctor at your place?
Waiting for reply.
Thanks.
