No need to go for more tests

Detailed Answer:
Hi thanks for using ask a doctor service

First of all I’d like to tell you that oral sex carries minimal risk of transmission. You had protected oral sex and there was no need for the tests you went.

You underwent RNA PCR and the test was negative. Screening tests are negative too. So remain relaxed there is no need to go for more tests. You are safe.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
You are safe.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again

Just keep one thing in mind that "Its difficult to get infected with HIV". One should use protection always in high risk encounters but the risk in your sexual activity was almost nil. There was no risk of transmission so stay relaxed. If it was HIV tests would have come positive by now. I hope you are understanding what I am saying. So just remain relaxed.

You are safe.

ThankS
