Yes, upper one-third on the anterior border of the tibia shows irregularity in the cancellous part. The chances of it being a cancerous growth are less as there is uniformity in its radio-opacity. Cancers usually show up as a lytic mixed intensity on xray. This can be well confirmed when seen in the anterior view.

Sometimes in old age, the cortex can show irregularity due to osteomalacia .
