I Was Having A Severe Cough And Shortness Of Breath
Question: i was having a severe cough and shortness of breath very frequently and i saw a pulmonologist here and he prescribed medication after chest xray and bliod test. that was two weeks ago.
i am attaching the prescriptions. prescription Dated 26/2 is after xray and before blood test result. The prescription dated 27/2 is after blood test result.
after two weeks today i consulted and the dictor asked to repeat blood test. i had a high count of absolue eosinophilis 1440 and after two werks of medication today%E2%80%99s test it is 740. i have to consult the dr with this report day after. However, i would like to get your opinion on this readings.

Also I would like to mention that I am very much better and almost nil of symptoms. however dr today aftet listening to my chest 99%25 is clear, but little wheezing us still there on the left side.

Actually you have started a medication anti parasites according to the high levels of eosinophils ,which will also help.
Given the fact that the wheezing persist will also recommend you to start a nebuliser with CLENIL C twice for up to one week which will relieve the obstruction of the peripheral small airways .
You will feel better soon after it.
It might be that after this situation an inhaler will be needed as you are an asthmatic patients ,for at least one month such as Budesonide twice. However it's your treating doctor who will decide about it. Please discuss with him or her for the above
