Question: hello since last 6 days my mother is suffering from cough and fever and body pain
(99 to 101 temperature)
although she is taking Amoxicillin 625,calpol,grilinctus and rabemac as per general physician .she is taking these medicines since last 2 days but not seen any recover .
please suggest for the same

There is a another flu going around similar to corona. Amoxicillin works only temporarily in this. She can take amoxicillin for minimum 3-5 days to see any effect. Chest X ray or CT scan is needed to determine severity. Throat swab or sputum culture needed to confirm diagnosis including corona etc.
Give her warm fluids and warm air.
Avoid ibuprofen.
She needs to be isolated in a room as the flu and corona are both very contagious.
